There are many ways to make money on the internet. I have been making a living off the internet for the last eight years. You will see lots of websites where people are making enough money to retire withing 30 days or 6 months or even a year. While I believe there is the occasional instant millionaire on the internet, I do not believe that many people are making an easy living of the internet. Many of these people had an initial learning curve and this can take months or even years. There is also a sucker born every minute. You can see many websites preying on people's desire to be rich without any work. You can make a decent living off the internet, and there are many places to do this. One word of advice if it looks too easy, it is probably best to avoid these schemes. Even Mr Bill Gates worked his butt off (and still does) to get the riches he has accumulated, even though he was at the right place at the right time.

Ebay

This is where I learned much about making money on the internet. You learn marketing, especially how to take care of customer service. Believe me this is the most important aspect of business.. You have to be willing to bend over backwards to please the customer. This is how we managed to acquire a 99.8% approval rating over 13844 positive feedback . over 7years. Selling on Ebay taught us the initial business sense that we needed to be successful. It taught us how to write titles, how to write ads, how important pictures were to an advertisement, etc. The nice thing about selling on Ebay, is that you can make money with any merchandise, ie, new, second hand, unwanted presents, etc. We started selling my sports card collection and worked our way to selling clearance clothing from stores. Selling on Ebay is fun but it is also a lot of work.

Free Ecommerce sites. These are popping up all over the internet. We currently sell at Ecrater. There are many more, and it is really worth checking these sites out. Many sellers and buyers are starting to look at alternatives to Ebay. We sell our products for less at Ecrater, than at Ebay, because we do not have to calculate in Ebay fees on merchandise that we sell.

Affiliate Marketing This can be quite lucrative. There is Clickbank if you want to sell digital products. If you are looking for other niche products to sell, try Commission Junction or Share A Sale, etc, there is good competition in this area. You can even sell products on Ebay if you join their affiliate program. It was always nice to get steady checks from being an affiliate for Ebay.

Blogging If you already have a Blog, there are programs where advertisers will pay you to blog about their products. This is nice way to make some money especially if you have some decent traffic to your Blog. You can also sell advertising space, put adsense ads on your blog, you can sell links, or even ask for donations for your blog. Today.com will even pay you to blog with them.

Write Articles There are sites that will pay you to write for them, Associated Content is one site in particular. Or if you write articles to promote your affiliate products or as in my case, to promote my store, why not post them to Associated Content, and they will pay you for the number of views that and this will help you recoup some of the time you spent writing the articles.
